Summary

SpacEscape uses a simple account system (email login or Google Sign-In) and cloud saves for your game progress and scores. We do not show ads, do not use analytics/crash reporting, and do not sell or share your data for marketing.

What we collect

  • Email address (if you register with email) – to create and manage your account and respond to support.

  • Account identifiers (e.g., Google Sign-In user ID) – to authenticate you.

  • Gameplay data (scores, progress, saves) – to store and sync your game state.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos/media, microphone/camera input, device advertising IDs, analytics, or crash logs.

How we use your data

  • Provide core functionality: account login, saving/syncing progress, leaderboards or similar game features (if applicable).

  • Support: respond to your requests (e.g., account deletion).

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or tracking.

Legal bases (GDPR/EEA/UK)

  • Performance of a contract: to provide the game and your account/cloud saves.

  • Legitimate interests: basic security and preventing abuse.

  • Consent: only where platform-specific consent is required (e.g., Google/Apple sign-in flows).

Data sharing & processors

We don’t sell your data. We use:

  • Google Firebase (Google LLC) as a data processor for authentication and storing player data (account, progress/saves).

Firebase may process data in data centers outside your country. Where applicable, standard contractual clauses and similar safeguards are used by Google for international transfers. See Google’s terms and privacy docs for details.

Data retention

  • Account data & gameplay data: kept while your account is active so we can provide cloud saves and restore progress.

  • If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your account and associated gameplay data (subject to brief backup/archival needs).

Security

We use platform security features and Firebase-provided protections. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Children

SpacEscape is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, contact us at info@griffinware.gr to have it deleted.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. To exercise these rights or delete your account, email info@griffinware.gr.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We’ll change the “Last updated” date and, where required, notify you in-app.
